I got serious about photography during the Seattle World's Fair. A friend of mine had this really cool camera that could do so much more than I could with my old Brownie Hawkeye. I bought a used 35mm and I was hooked for life. I took a photography course when I was going to the University of Montana and after that I had to build a darkroom so I could get images that looked the way I had envisioned it when I clicked the shutter.

Although I never did depend on my photography for a living, I started doing weddings and some senior portraits in the early 1980's. I thought that I was retired from that when I moved to Billings in 2004 but it seems like I still get conned into it once in awhile.

I went totally digital in 2004 and haven't looked back to film since then. I am amazed that I can continue to make my prize winning images without having to spend hours in the darkroom or have someone else do it for me.

The First 25 riders to submit an entry form before May 1, 2008, will receive an entry gift of significant value. Any entry forms received after that date, will not be counted as an early entry form. The submission of the entry form, printed or electronic, will be the only means of who will receive the gifts.

A Note About Entry Forms

If you plan to attend, we would appreciate it if you would fill out and mail the entry form (or our electronic form when it becomes available); however, verbal, telephone, answering machine, or e-mails are acceptable ways to let us know. Payment does not have to be made until the day of the ride. We know last minute emergencies can alter one's ability to attend, so please don't let that stop you. Our planning and scheduling will be more accurate if we know to expect you.
